Kyrgyzstan ranks among our top three most adventure-packed expeditions. We set off from Bishkek and spend two weeks exploring a country where the sky feels closer than anywhere else on earth. Lake Issyk-Kul, the Skazka Canyon, the Tosor Pass at nearly 4,000 metres, the 15th-century Tash Rabat caravanserai, and Lake Song-Köl - a nomad yurt camp where the Milky Way shines so bright you could read by its light.

Arrival in the capital of Kyrgyzstan and vehicle pick-up.

Day 2

Issyk-Kul

Drive along the lakeshore. First encounter with the Tien Shan mountains.

Day 3

Karakol National Park

Alpine trails, waterfalls, and the first nomad yurts.

Day 4

Skazka Canyon

The red canyon - rock formations straight out of One Thousand and One Nights.

Day 5

Tosor Pass

The toughest and most beautiful stretch of the expedition - 3,893 m a.s.l.

Day 6

Little Naryn Valley

A scenic valley with a riverside wild camp.

Day 7

Tash Rabat

A 15th-century caravanserai unchanged for 600 years.

Day 8

Chinese Border - Kol-Suu

Border zone and the stunning Kol-Suu lake.

Day 9

Song-Köl

Lake Song-Köl - yurt camp under an extraordinary Milky Way sky.

Day 10

A Day with the Nomads

Horse riding, kumiss, and traditional Kyrgyz food.

Day 11

Naryn

The Naryn Valley - the rugged heart of Kyrgyzstan.

Day 12

Osh

Kyrgyzstan's second city - the Jayma Bazaar and the Silk Road heritage.

Day 13

The Road of 100 Switchbacks

A drive across mountain passes with breathtaking panoramic views.

Day 14

Bishkek

Last day in the country - shopping, farewell dinner.

Return Flight

Transfer to the airport and flight back to Warszawa.

FAQ

Polish citizens can stay in Kyrgyzstan visa-free for up to 60 days.

The maximum altitude is approximately 3,900 m above sea level. Acclimatisation is gradual throughout the route.
